In recent years, In Vietnam the Information Systems (IS) have become increasingly important to all universities to manage students. And User satisfaction has increasingly played an important role in information systems organizations'' effectiveness. User satisfaction (US) is probably the most studied construct in information research. Despite such attention, reported results regarding the relationship between US and IS success have been inconclusive and sometimes contradictory. Perhaps user dispositional traits are confounding the results. Users may be predisposed to be either satisfied or dissatisfied in a way that has nothing to do with the system itself.
This article presents the development of a questionnaire to measure user satisfaction with the IS in managing students’ data. The research model is tested using a questionnaire survey of 250 participants (administrative staff and students). The purpose of this study is to measure the level of satisfaction among the users of information system based on EDUSOFT in managing students’ data. We want to figure out the user satisfaction of applying information system based on EDUSOFT at University of Dalat and to evaluate the experts’ and students’ opinions toward user satisfaction of information system in managing students’ data. As a result of this study, we offer some factors having effect on users’ satisfaction with IS by using IS success model.
