Education and improvement of young generation is vital issue of the nation, one of the determining factors on the development of the country. Due to the characteristics of age, adverse impact of market mechanism, such issues as thought, ethics and lifestyle of young people should be paid special attention to. The press system in general (including press agencies of the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union) plays a great role in the social life, especially providing information, orientating information for young people to educate thought, ethics and lifestyle for them. However, in the context of globalization, information booming and information supply service, in the face of new requirements of youth education, if the communication agencies (including press agencies of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union) fail to perfect themselves, find out restrictions and weaknesses and factors reducing communication efficiency, surely they will fail to attract the attention from readers, especially young people.
Press system directly under the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union is part of the organization of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (including writing press agencies and magazines) and part of the national press system. Over the past years, press of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has made great contribution to educating healthy and noble thought, ethics and lifestyle for Vietnam young people. However, the research on difficulties, restrictions and disadvantages that affect the efficiency of press system directly under Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and activities of newspapers and magazines directly under the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in educating children and young people remains quite limited. Therefore, finding out the factors impacting communication efficiency of press agencies of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union is quite urgent and necessary in order to work out suitable adjustment and remedy measures and recommend some solutions to bring into full play great role of this system in educating young people at present.
