In market economies, education is regarded as a service. Accordingly, schools are service suppliers and students are service users (customers). According to economic
theories, service suppliers can see how good their service quality is by measuring customers’ satisfaction so that they can make necessary adjustments to improve its service quality. In Vietnam, a few researches on the training quality in vocational training centers have been conducted.
Purpose of this research is to study the relationship between learners satisfaction with training quality at Women’s Vocational Training Center in Haiphong city, Vietnam.
Research method/approach: Research framework for this research is designed after reviewing literature in this educational field relating to training quality, and
satisfaction. Then proposed framework is tested, a survey by questionnaire is conducted,samples are the learners at the center. Data is analyzed by using SPSS.
Findings: The findings show some strong factors influencing learner satisfaction:administration, training program, and instructor capacity. Moreover, some demographic variables affect learners’ evaluation and perceptions.
Implication: the research results shall be helpful for vocational training units and managers to improve training quality to meet the learners’ expectation.
