Abstract: Nowadays, the management of telecommunication services and public internet agents in Vietnam, even in Haiphong city still exist many problems, due to inadequate number of Internet agents increased quickly. The organization manages internet service is very complex, otherwise the articles of state laws regulating of public internet agents are not appropriate and the lack of management experience leading to many difficulties for management. Besides that, deployment of telecommunications services and internet agents’ management at the Department of Information and Communication Haiphong also take the form and almost use underdeveloped methods, less focused on information technology applications and advance solutions technology in the management and monitoring of telecommunications services and public internet agents.
The purpose of this study is to examine the acceptance model of telecommunication and internet service in Haiphong city with three objectives (1) to identify what the factors have significant influence the behavioral intention toward the use of telecommunication and internet services in Haiphong city; (2) to examine how the factors influence the behavioral intention toward the use of telecommunication and internet services in Haiphong city; and (3) to examine how the users are willing to accept telecommunication and internet services in the context of Haiphong city.
The study based on the well-known Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with extensions to employ for the analysis. Data of the quantitative survey is gathered from users and manager of telecommunication and internet services business. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) is used for analyzing the collected data.
This study report the findings with issues concerning the acceptance model of telecommunication and internet services in Haiphong city, Vietnam. In addition, some suggestions to improve telecommunication and internet services management will be also provided.
