摘要: Globalization and the ubiquitous nature of Internet facilitate E-Commerce activities across nations. Despite its claimed benefits, this innovative mode of retailing has not yet been accepted by every buyers and sellers. The aim of this research is to know what’s reaction of the potential customers to E-commerce (online shopping) in its early stage, based on their characteristics (demographic, cognitive, psychological) with a sample of 210 students from Hanoi University of Industry in Vietnam. Research framework is designed by integrating Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Innovation Adoption Theory (IAT), also reviewing the previous empirical studies. By Regression technique, this research found that four variables (Perceived usefulness, Compatability, Innovativeness, Risk-taking Propensity) have positive effect on Attitude toward online shopping and this Attitude also has positive relation with Intention to do shopping online. However, Demographic variables in this research did not show any significance related to Attitude.
