A qualitative approach with deep interview was applied to this study to explore the experience of sexual violence from three women in the marriage. Three main results concluded from the experience context of the studied women were:
The situation of sexual violence in the marriage
The subjects underwent the multiple pattern of sexual violence in the marriage, including insult with language and force before sexual behavior, insult with language, hitting body, taking clothes away with force, taking clothes away with force and insult, attacking her chest and the groin, sexual behavior with insult, spiritual abuse, insult and controlling the freedom after unsatisfied sexual behavior, and deprivation of body needs.
The ways of responding the sexual violence in the marriage
The ways of responding the sexual violence regarding the psychological aspects were the thought of embracing the hope, separation, and transferring the attention. The ways of responding the sexual violence regarding the behavioral aspects were resisting, avoiding, hiding, getting away, negotiation, compromise, pretending the climax, and asking for help.
The affects of sexual violence in the marriage
The physical affects included multiple wound on the body, the suffering during sexual behavior, the infection of sexual organ, laceration, severe injury of reproduction, and the affect of sleeping. The psychological affects included the feeling of suffering, helpless, pressure, angry, hate, scare, and social isolation. The affect of cognition included insult and distracting attention. Thus, the association with sex for the subjects was scare.
